Bell Test

Test PHC Communications

If SMS texting is used on your system, your engineer will have programmed your mobile

number(s) in the engineer menu. This function allows you to change them.

This function is used in conjunction with SMS texts. It is used to communicate with the

‘Pyronix Host Computer’ (The mobile phone server).

NOTE: All Pyronix Host Computer calls are 50p per call. Please see page 26 for more

information. You will usually be only asked to perform this function by your engineer.

Enter the Master Manager Menu >

Use the > b and x keys to scroll to

‘Bell Test’. Press the t key

Enter the Master Manager Menu >

Use the > b and x keys to scroll to

‘Test PHC Communications’. Press the

t key

Both the strobe and bell outputs will >

be tested. To cancel, press the x key

If you are using a PABX line (that needs >

a ‘9’ to dial out) press the t key or

press the x key if not.

The PCX system will then call the PHC. >

If ‘Failed PHC Test’ is displayed, please

call your engineer
